Who is responsible
Farino PDF is operated by PT Farino Teknologi Indonesia (Farinotech), GMI Building, Jl. Srengseng Sawah No.4, Kec. Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta 12630, Indonesia. Contact sales@farinopdf.com for account, licensing and privacy enquiries.
Information we process
Account information includes your name, email, password hash and verification status. Optional profile and billing fields include company, address, country, phone and tax information. Licensing records include the edition, maintenance dates, device allowance, installation identifier, device public key, device name, operating system, activation and connection timestamps. Order, payment-confirmation and support records are retained to administer your purchase. Security logs record actions and network metadata; sensitive credentials must not be included in support messages.
Your documents
Desktop PDF editing and local OCR process documents on your computer. Account activation does not require your PDF contents. Documents you deliberately attach to support are processed to investigate your request. A feature that sends document content to an external service must identify that service and its purpose before the transfer. Do not submit confidential documents through public contact forms.
Purposes and legal grounds
We use necessary account and licensing data to perform our agreement with you, fulfil applicable obligations and protect the service against fraud and abuse. Optional uses that require consent will be explained separately. Accepting an EULA or registering an account is not blanket consent to unrelated marketing. We do not use this website’s account workflow to sell personal data.
Retention and account continuity
We retain account and license records while needed to administer the account and perpetual entitlement, and order records for applicable accounting or legal requirements. The application can remember a device-bound account session for up to 120 days since its last successful renewal. This does not extend the separate offline license-verification window. Revocation, sign out, account-security changes or inactivity may require a new sign in. Scheduled cleanup removes expired credentials and eligible security logs; backups and hosting logs follow operational retention. Contact us about deletion and applicable exceptions.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or other rights available under applicable law, withdraw consent for consent-based processing, and raise a complaint. We verify identity proportionately before releasing account information. Requests are assessed under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law and other applicable requirements. Deleting the account can affect access to licenses linked to it; we will explain the effect before completing such a request.
Security and incidents
Controls include HTTPS, password hashing, optional authenticator-based two-factor authentication, scoped permissions, rate limits, signed device entitlements and protected desktop credential storage. No service can guarantee absolute security. If an incident triggers a notification obligation, we will assess and provide the notifications required by applicable law. Keep your operating system and application updated and never share one-time codes or recovery codes.
